Definition

The number of full-time equivalents required for financing a person or position in the financing or availability period.

This number is calculated as follows:

  • The number of FTEs required for a person is calculated on the basis of this person's staffing percentage.
  • The number of FTEs required for a position is the total of the FTEs required for all the persons who are holders of the position in the financing or allocation period.

There are two possible scenarios:

  • You are on the Allocate screen:

    The number of FTEs required only includes the FTEs that are still required after the position or person has been financed by other budgets in the availability period.
  • You are on the Finance screen:

    The number of FTEs required includes all the FTEs that are required for financing the position or person in the financing period.
