Definition
Event: Cost Center From Different FM Area
This event is triggered if, during the Organizational Management consistency check on the FM area, the system detects cost centers that are assigned to FM areas other than the FM area in question.
You can assign an FM area by defining account assignment characteristics for an object manually, or you can stipulate that this information is passed on automatically from a higher-level object in the hierarchy.
By defining account assignment characteristics, you are in effect assigning the organizational structure (or a part of it) to a company code. This company code is, in turn, assigned to an FM area.
The consistency check is run if integration with Funds Management is to be activated, and if you intend to define account assignment characteristics in this active integrated environment.
