Definition
Groups the employees whose employment insurance (EI) premium is calculated in the same way.
Use
To facilitate EI processing during a payroll run, you group employees in different personnel areas and personnel subareas. The employees in a given group share the same EI settings as follows:
- EI compensation
- Rate for supplementary EI
- Rate for premium exemption
