Definition

Indicates if it is a purchase of school uniform for an employee's dependent who is studying in middle or high school.

Use

If you select this checkbox, the year-end adjustment (YEA) process uses the expense item as an education expense on school uniform to be deducted from the employee's taxable income.

During YEA, the system compares the employee's total amount of school uniform expenses with the amount specified by the Limit of Deduction for Uniform (LDSUC) constant. Based on the comparison result, the system deducts the smaller amount of the two from the employee's taxable income.
