Definition

Use

Specify the sequence for overtime-hour accumulation when your settings fulfill the following conditions:

  • One or more wage types are assigned to different wage type (WT) groups
  • These WT groups are assigned to the same employee overtime group

Dependencies

During payroll, when hours saved in a common wage type make the accumulated overtime hours for relevant WT groups all reach the lower limits, the system accumulates the hours to the WT group with higher priority.

Note

Overtime hours saved in the common wage type are accumulated to all the assigned wage type groups before reaching the lower limits.

Example

Wage type M110 is assigned to wage type group WTG01 and WTG02, which have settings of limit and accumulation sequence as follows:

WT Group    Lower Limit    Accumulation Sequence

WTG01    60/Month    1

WTG02    360/Year    2

By the first 9 days of a payroll period, 358 hours are accumulated for WTG02; and 54 hour are accumulated for WTG01. M110 saves 9 hours for the 10th day.

Then the system accumulates as follows:

  1. 6 out of 9 hours into WTG01, and transfer remaining 3 hours into corresponding converted wage type
  2. 2 out of 6 hours into WTG02; and transfer remaining 4 hours into corresponding converted wage type
  3. Keep the rest 2 hours in M110
