Definition
Specifies the condition on which a foreign employee is permitted to engage in activities beyond the scope of the resident status. Each resident status has its own defined scope of work activities.
Use
Dependencies
To define a permission condition in the system, see Customizing for Personnel Management under Personnel Administration -> Personal Data -> Identification (Japan) -> Define Permission Conditions of Activities out of Scope.
Example
You can select the following condition for the employee:
- Permitted (no more than 28 hours per week, excluding entertainment business)
The foreign employee is allowed to engage in any work activities up to 28 hours a week, except those related to entertainment business. - Permitted (work activities specified in work permit)
The foreign employee is permitted to engage in work activities specified in his or her work permit.
