  • Start and end date
  • Start and end time

Example

You can use the time limit start and end of academic session to define the duration of an academic session within an academic year in the academic calendar.

Supplementary Documentation - PIQTIMELIMIT0001

Procedure

You specify a time limit for the due date schedule amount exception. When the payment amount is less than a certain value, the SAP System derives a single date according to the time limit you specified as the due date.

Make sure this time limit you specified belongs to the time limit sequence that you assigned to the same fee calculation period within the due date schedule.

Examples

  • You assigned time limit sequence TLS-1 to the due date schedule DDS-1, fee calculation period 0001.
  • You have maintained that the time limit sequence TLS-1 contains time limits TL01 and TL02 in the SAP System.
  • You specify the exception amount is 1,000 UNI, and you specify the time limit TL01 as the time limit for the due date schedule amount exception.
  • The SAP System calculates fees for a student, the result is 900 UNI. Because 900 UNI is less than 1,000 UNI, the SAP derives a single date 01/01/2002 according to the time limit TL01.

In this case, the student must pay 900 UNI before 01/01/2001.
