Documentation
Use
The SAP System determines the derived organizational unit by evaluating the student's registration data. The derived organizational unit is usually the organizational unit that offers the main program or module group.
Dependencies
If you do not assign an organizational unit directly to the student, the system uses the derived organizational unit as the principal organizational unit of the student.
Your system administrator can adapt the algorithm for deriving the organizational unit to your requirements in Customizing for Campus Management (see BAdI: Determine/Derive Student's Organizational Unit).
