Documentation
Definition
Identifies a package of events offered for a module within an academic session.
Use
An event package may be used to group several events offered for a module. In this case the module and event registration will allow for registration for an event package instead of registration for individual events.
Event packages and event package categories are also used in pricing in order to define special class fees.
Example
For module MAT101 you offer a lecture and three tutorials in an academic session. You may combine them to three event packages as follows,
- lecture + tutorial 1
- lecture + tutorial 2
- lecture + tutorial 3
In this case, the students can register for just one event package. If you do not define event packages, the students have to register for the lecture and a tutorial and may accidentally register for no lecture and three tutorials.
