Definition

Defines the scale which the external organization uses to rate the GPA.

Dependencies

If you do not enter a GPA scale for the external organization, the system uses the next higher-level GPA scale. The order of precedence for GPA scales is as follows:

  1. Scale assigned to the external organization
  2. Scale assigned to the next higher-level external organization
  3. Standard scale

(If a GPA scale is not specified in 1 but in 2, the system uses the one specified in 2.)

Example

The organizational units of a (higher-level) external organization all use the same GPA scale. In this case, it makes sense to maintain only the GPA scale of the higher-level external organization. If no GPA scale is specified for the lower-level organizational units, the system automatically uses the GPA scale of the higher-level organization.
