Use
The Customizing view offers an overview of the settings you made in rules Customizing. You can choose the following displays:
- Callup points -> rule containers -> rule modules -> validations and substitutions -> Boolean classes
- Rule containers -> rule modules
- Boolean classes -> validations and substitutions -> rule modules
Dependencies
Which objects appear in the rule overview depends on the display type and on the selected starting and ending levels.
You can select the following starting and ending levels depending on the display type:
- Academic View
- AC - Academic structure objects
- If you select this level, you can restrict the display to specific callup points:
- BC - Boolean classes
- RC - rule containers
- RM - rule modules
- VS - validations and substitutions
- Customizing View
- CP - callup points
- BC - Boolean classes
- RC - rule containers
- RM - rule modules
- VS - validations and substitutions
An academic object can be an organizational unit, a program, a module, a module group, or an event package. The academic object can be linked to a rule container. The rule container can be directly assigned to a callup point in Customizing. Rule containers consist of rule modules. Rule modules contain validations and substitutions. Validations consist of Boolean classes.
Example
In the rule overview, you want to display the rule modules and the rule containers assigned to these rule modules.
You therefore select the following starting and ending levels:
- Starting level: rule modules
- Ending level: rule containers
