Documentation
Definition
Defines how a requirement within the requirement pattern is interpreted.
Use
The requirement categories defined by SAP have the following meaning:
- Subrequirements (category G)
The requirement consists of concrete subrequirements which are determined from the academic structure.
If the system finds no subrequirements for a requirement element in this category when it generates personal requirement profiles (see requirement selection), it sets the status of this requirement profile to incomplete. If you do not want the system to assign this status to any requirement profile, you should use a variable requirement or leave this field empty.
- Variable requirement (category V)
This category is intended for informational purposes only and is not evaluated by the system.
- Consolidation (category C)
This requirement represents a consolidation level within the requirement pattern. This category is intended for informational purposes only and is not evaluated by the system.
