Documentation
Definition
Indicates that the entire study segment will be cancelled when you create a de-registration.
Use
If you select this option, the system cancels the entire study segment it created for a registration or change of program when you create a de-registration. It also automatically cancels all sessional registrations that exist within the study segment period.
Example
On 01.08.2001 you registered a student for the 2001/2002 winter semester which begins on 15.09.2001. Then on 15.08.2001, you received a letter informing you that the student cannot take up his/her studies due to personal reasons. You create a withdrawal and select this option in order to cancel the entire study segment.
Notes
Deletion of a study segment is independent of the existing module bookings. To delete the student's module bookings for this period, select Delete Module Bookings.
Deletion of a study segment is also independent of fee calculation in student accounting. You have to adjust fee calculation data accordingly in student accounting.
