Definition
Select this field to specify that the system is to cancel all the modulebookings that are valid beyond the specified end date of a student's registration for a program of study when the student de-registers.
The system only cancels the module bookings that are relevant for the de-registration program.
If the module bookings are only relevant for this specific program type, the system cancels all the module bookings whose booking context is the de-registration program of study.
Note: This can lead to problems if the student is registered for two programs of study that belong to the same program type.
EXAMPLE
A student is registered for the graduate program of study Mathematics. He takes the modules Mathematics1 and Mathematics2 and the booking context is the program type Graduate.
The student also registers for the graduate program of study IT. He takes the modules C and C++ and the booking context is the program type Graduate. The student then deregisters from IT and the module bookings are cancelled. Since the program type Graduate in the module booking context applies to all four bookings, the system cancels all the module bookings although the student is still registered for the program of study Mathematics.
Use
Select this field to specify that the system is to cancel module bookings for academic sessions after this end date.
