Documentation
Definition
Specifies the date which is set in the valid-from date field for the given check period.
Use
The set valid-from date can differ from the actual valid-from date if the valid-from date of the result for a check period is after the valid-from date of the result for a later check period.
Example
On July 1 of each year, you run program type progression. The first progression run for the student Susan Mitchell took place on 01.07.2001; the result of this run is valid from 01.07.2001.
The second progression run took place on 01.01.2002; the result of this run is valid from 01.07.2002.
The third progression run took place on 01.07.2002; the result of this run is valid from 01.07.2002.
The system shows the following data in Susan Mitchell's progression result history:
Check Period Valid From Valid To Set
1 01.07.2001 30.06.2002 01.07.2001
2 ---------- ---------- 01.07.2002
3 01.07.2002 31.12.9999 01.07.2002
The system does not display a valid-from or valid-to date for the second check period.
Note
The initial valid-to date of the result for a check period is always 31.12.9999. It changes when a progression result becomes available.
