Documentation
Definition
Defines the mode in which progression is executed for the program type.
Use
The system offers the following execution categories for progression:
- Initialize
Requirements: No progression data exists for the student in the specified program type.
Use: The initial progression run provides the basis for progression runs with other execution categories.
- New
Requirements:
- An initial progression run was executed.
- No progression data exists for the check-to date.
Use: The system determines a new progression result.
- Repeat
Requirements:
- An initial progression run was executed.
- Progression data already exists for the check-to date.
- The system uses the check-to date of the last progression run.
- Only the last progression run may be repeated. Progression runs before the last run cannot be repeated.
Use: The system recalculates progression for the check-to date specified in the last progression run.
- Automatic
Use: The system automatically determines the correct execution category (initialize, new, or repeat).
- Manual
Requirements: An initial progression run was executed.
Use: Depending on which check-to date you enter, the system either overwrites the existing progression result with manually entered values or it creates a new progression result with these values.
- Reset
Requirements: An initial progression run was executed.
Use: The system resets the progression results of all check periods that overlap with the specified check-to date or are after this check-to date. Check periods whose check-to dates are before the specified check-to date are not taken into account.
