Definition

The time a student has spent in the chosen program to date. This time can be expressed in academic sessions or academic years, depending on the session variant of the program in question.

The completed length of study includes credited study time as well as the actual study time spent in the program.

Default mechanism

If the default mechanism is set for the field completed length of study, the system proposes the following values:

• Initial registration: The system copies the completed length of study contained in the admission data. If admission data is not available, the system proposes the value 1.
• Re-registration: The system increments the value for the completed length of study from the previous sessional registration by 1.
• Leave of absence: The system copies the value for the completed length of study from the last sessional registration.
