Documentation
Use
Indicates that the module booking is subject to fulfillment of the missing booking prerequisites, such as the successful completion of another module or the awarding of a qualification.
A conditional booking is either made automatically by the system when it updates data or manually by authorized persons. The conditional booking has one of the following attributes depending on how it was made:
- Automatic conditional booking
- Manual conditional booking
Supplementary Documentation - PIQPEPE_COBOK0001
Use
This field determines whether the qualification is to be conferred conditionally and thus handled as an open prerequisite for module booking.
If a prerequisite is still open, you can allow conditional module booking. This means you can make the module booking although the prerequisite is not yet fulfilled.
Dependencies
If the system encounters a manually set condition when you attempt to confer a qualification, it will automatically only allow you to make a conditional booking for any module which requires this qualification. In such cases, the Conditional Booking indicator must be set for relationship 529 between the qualification and the module.
When you then actually impart the qualification, you must remove the manually set condition by setting the No Conditional Booking indicator. The system can then book modules unconditionally.
