Definition
Specifies whether the note type allows the entry of user-defined notes or whether it contains a predefined note.
Use
When you create a note in the note overview of the student file, the note category of the selected note type affects processing in the following way:
- In a user-defined note, you can enter a random text.
- In a predefined note, you must use the note text defined in Customizing. This text cannot be changed.
