The system distinguishes between the system status which is delivered by SAP, and the customer status which is user-defined.
Examples
Campus Management offers the following system statuses:
- Applicant
- Admitted applicant
- Rejected applicant
- Student
- Alumnus
- Registered for session
- On leave of absence
- De-registered
- Deceased
Supplementary Documentation - PIQHS_STSTATUS0001
Use
You can use one or more statuses as selection criteria when you search for students.
When you specify one or more statuses as selection criteria, the system chooses the students who had one of these statuses on at least one day of the given selection period.
If you specify a status without a date, the system uses the system date as the start and end date.
Notes
When you call search help, the system chooses the personalized statuses and the personalized start and end dates as the default setting for status selection. You can display and change this default setting in the student file or when you edit student master data via the menu option Settings -> Personalization.
You can define which statuses you want to use as search criteria in search help in Customizing for Campus Management in the IMG activity Define Search Help Settings for Student Statuses.
The system distinguishes between the system status which is delivered by SAP, and the customer status which is user-defined.
