Definition
Defines which data the system selects and transfers to pricing.
Use
You can assign each processing mode for fee calculation one or two data selection modes.
The system contains three data selection modes with the following uses:
- Registration/module booking
In this mode, the system determines the data from the student's sessional registrations and module bookings. It also takes into account sessional registrations and module bookings that have been cancelled. The system uses the fee calculation period which it derives from the fee calculation date.
- Admission
In this mode, the system determines the student's admission data but not the application data. If you want to run fee calculation on the basis of application data, you must use the calculation base provided for this purpose.
- Expected registration
In this mode, the system calculates the expected fees based on the previous fee calculation period. It determines the data from the sessional registrations and module bookings in the previous fee calculation period.
Note
The system only allows you to use the following combinations of data selection modes for a fee calculation processing mode:
