Definition
Defines the coding system that contains the code and name of the external organization.
Use
Many countries have one or more directories listing the schools, universities, and other academic institutions within the country. Each of the academic institutions in this directory has its own unique identification code. In the SAP System, this directory is referred to as coding system.
You first select the relevant coding system and then enter the code for the external organization specified there.
