Definition

Specifies the priority the system uses when it proposes transfer regulations for equivalency determination of external academic achievements.

Use

The priority is used for information purposes only and is not evaluated by the system.

Example

The student, Susan Mitchell, has submitted an external transcript to your university. This transcript certifies the external academic work (subjects A and B) she completed at another institution. She would like to have this external work acknowledged as equivalent to modules offered by your university.

During equivalency determination for subect A, the system proposes both module 1 and module 2 based on the different transfer regulations. However, module 1 has the higher priority as shown in the table below:

For subject A, the administrator must choose between modules 1 and 2. The priority can help him to make the choice.
