Example
A student completes his studies at the end of the 2002/2003 academic year. After receiving his exam results, he submits an application for de-registration on 25.08.2003 requesting to be de-registered on 30.06.2003. You want to record the date on which the application was submitted so you enter 25.08.2003 as the activity key date of de-registration.
