Definition
Defines which activities are allowed for a cohort.
Use
The cohort context enables you to restrict the functions or processes which may be used for a specific cohort.
Example
You group a certain number of students in a cohort so that you can simultaneously book modules for all of these students instead of having to book them separately for each student.
You create the cohort in the module booking context. This setting defines that this cohort can be used for module booking, but not for other activities such as re-registration.
