Documentation
Definition
Specifies the order of precedence of a student's specializations.
Supplementary Documentation - PIQCGPRIOX0001
Use
When you use qualifications as requirements and link them with jobs, positions or work centers, the priority designates the significance of the requirement in question. The priority describes how important it is that the person fulfils the requirement defined by the tasks of a job, position or work center.
The system takes the requirement priority into account when it calculates the suitability percentage. It does so by comparing the requirements of a job, position or work center with the qualifications of a person. Requirements with a higher priority (for example, "1") have a greater significance.
Examples
0 --> Unevaluated requirement priority (= initial value)
1 --> Very important requirement (essential requirement which must be
met)
... --> Scaling of the requirement priority from important to
unimportant
9 --> Unimportant requirement

Priority for Arrangement of Budget Structure Elements
In this field, you define the order in which you want to display budget structure elements.
If several budget structure elements appear at the same level of a hierarchical structure, these must be arranged in a specific order from top to bottom.
You can do so by assigning the elements alphanumeric priority values; 1 or A represents the highest priority (at the very top) and 99 or Z the lowest (at the very bottom).
If you do not assign a priority to budget structure elements, the system arranges them according to their object IDs.
Procedure
- Create mode
In this field, assign a priority to the budget structure elements you want to display in a specific order. For each budget structure element, enter an alphanumeric value (1, 2, 3... or A, B, C...).
- Change mode
In the change mode, you can overwrite existing values.
Examples
The system displays the following budget hierarchy:
BU 50002 - personnel expenses (= root object)
|
|BU 50010 - public sector employees )
|BU 50012 - salaried employees )= lower level budget structure
elements
|BU 50015 - hourly paid employees )
You want to display the budget structure elements under the root object in the following order:
1. Hourly paid employees
2. Public sector employees
3. Salaried employees
You therefore assign the budget structure elements the following priorities:
Budget structure element Priority
BU 50010 - Public sector employees 2
BU 50012 - Salaried employees 3
BU 50015 - Hourly paid employees 1
When you save the priorities, the system displays the budget structure elements in the specified order.
