Defines an alternative assessment method for academic work.

Use

You require an alternative assessment method when you perform the follow-up activities for students who complete academic work but should not be given grades and/or credits for these.

Examples

At your university, registered students who successfully complete academic work are given a grade and a certain number of credits. Auditors who complete the same academic work are not given a grade but only a certain number of credits.

To map this in the system, you define an alternative assessment method in Customizing for Campus Management which you can assign to auditors. This ensures that these students cannot be given grades but can be granted credits in the module follow-up activities.
