Definition
Indicates whether the student is a resident alien or a non-resident alien. If you select this checkbox, the student has resident status, whereas if the checkbox is not selected, the student is assumed to be a non-resident.
Use
The residence status is used in conjunction with the ethnic group classification to categorize students for reporting purposes.
