Documentation
Use
The calculation base enables you to define whether fee calculation is to be based on application data or on study data.
- Admission application data
You can use application data as a fee calculation base only if an application for admission exists in the system for the given student and this application has the status created. Information on the applications submitted by a student can be found on the Admission tab page in the student file.
- Study data
You can use study data as a fee calculation base only if a sessional program registration exists in the system for the given student. Here, the system also takes into account cancelled sessional registrations. Information on a student's registrations can be found on the Registration tab page in the student file.
Dependencies
You can use the calculation base as a parameter for fee calculation.
The system uses the calculation base and other parameters to derive the relevant fee calculation procedure. You can define how the system should derive the fee calculation procedure in Customizing for Campus Management in the activity Designate Fee Calculation Procedure.
