Documentation
Definition
This is the increment percentage of a Basic Pay slab for the combination of a Basic Code, Increment Method and Sequence Number.
Dependencies
The Basic Promotions Report (HINIBSP0) reads this increment percentage for an employee (if you have selected the method of increment as percentage), while calculating increments.
You can also select the method for treating this increment percentage through the Percentage Method Field.
Example
An employee belongs to the Pay Scale Grouping for Allowances MN01. The Basic Code for MN01 is BA0A.
For
- Basic Code as BA0A
- Increment Method as Basic increments on percentage basis
- Sequence Number as 1
the Percentage Method that you have selected is Increment as % of minimum slab basic, and the Basic Pay Slab in which the current salary of the employee falls is 9000-500-12000. If you enter the Inc. % as 10, the employee will get an increment of Rs. (10/100) * 9000 = Rs. 900.
