Definition

Specify the start date of assignment of a time independent model roster ID to a time dependent roster ID.

Use

You can map different time independent model roster IDs to same time dependent roster ID for different periods. System maintains multiple records for a time dependent roster ID based on Start Date and End Date of assignment of a time independent model roster ID.

Dependencies

Example

Consider a company X with following objects:

Time dependent roster IDs as:

  • TR1
  • TR2
  • TR3

Time independent model roster IDs as:

  • IM1
  • IM2
  • IM3

You can assign time independent model roster to time dependent roster as follows:

  • IM1 to TR1 and specify the Start Date and End Date
  • IM3 to TR3 and specify the Start Date and End Date       

You can maintain multiple records for the same time dependent roster ID as follows:

  • Assignment of IM1 to TR1 from March 31, 2006 until December 31, 2007.
  • Assignment of IM2 to TR1 from April 1, 2007 until December 31, 9999.
