Definition
Select this option if you want to pay an interim bonus to the employees.
While computing the interim bonus, the report projects the employee salary for the entire bonus period, based on the basis salary for the current period. The report then computes the interim bonus payable to the employee in the selected period.
For example, your company decides to pay an interim bonus in August, for the bonus period April to March.
While computing the interim bonus, the report will project the salary of August untill March, and then compute the bonus payable in August. If your company decides to pay a second interim bonus in October, the projection for the second interim bonus will be based on the October salary, and the system will deduct the first interim bonus from the present bonus.
While computing the Final bonus payable to the employee, at the end of the bonus period, the report will take the salary for the entire year as the annual basis, and deduct the interim bonuses paid to the employees. The system will also recover any excess payments made during intermim bonus.
Note
You must pay all the interim bonus and the final bonus through a single wage type. You must select this wage type in the Wage type for Infotype 0015/0267 field.
