Definition
Under section 10(14)(xi) the transport allowance granted to an employee who is blind or orthopaedically handicapped with disablity of lower extremities, to meet the expenditure for the purpose of commuting between his place of residence and the place of his duty is exempted upto Rs 1600 per month.
