Definition
Represents the Health Insurance contribution amount to be deducted per pay period. The amount is derived in the following manner. It is either:
- uploaded from the VHI or BUPA diskette,
- calculated by the system (based on the Balance Amount), or
- entered manually into the field.
The system calculates the contribution amount as amount to be paid divided by the number of pay periods to the end of the VHI year. Table T7IE7 determines if the begin dates, end dates or pay dates are counted. The user can accepted the suggested per period deduction or cancel from the suggested popup screen.
