Documentation
Definition
Indicates that the employee is an existing employee but has not participated in any mandatory provident fund (MPF) plan before.
Use
You select this checkbox for the employees without previous MPF participation, for example, a foreign employee. Since the employee has not participated in MPF, he or she is still entitled to the MPF contribution holiday.
Dependencies
If you select this checkbox, you must also select the Include Credit YOS from Previous Service field. Therefore, the year of service for previous employers is also included in contribution calculation.
