Definition
The minimum income level for an income range. This income range is used as one of the factor to determine the different employee and employer contribution percentage towards a MPF/ORSO or similar-type scheme.
Example
Consider the following income ranges:
- $0 - $ 3,999
- $ 4,000 - $19,999
- $20,000 onwards
The values $0, $4,000 and $20,000 are the threshold values of each range (for an MPF Scheme).
