Definition
When you set the Former Employee indicator, Employer's Return of Remuneration and Pensions for the Tax Year report (I.R 56B) includes the share option gains for former employees or directors .
According to legal requirements, an employer should report the share option gains in I.R 56B in the year of assessment when the share option gain is realized. "Former" indicates that the employee or director has been terminated and the year of termination of employment is earlier than the reported tax year.
