Definition
A fixed amount which the employer wishes to contribute to the employee's retirement scheme.
If this fixed amount is higher than the mandatory contribution, then the following two entries are recorded in the payroll results:
- The mandatory contribution for the Contribution Plan according to the employee's age, years-of-service and income threshold.
- An optional contribution consisting of the difference between the the fixed amount and the mandatory contribution.
If this fixed amount is lower than the mandatory contribution, the n is mandatory contribution is used instead.
