Definition

Identifies wage types that are created in the payroll period which the employee started work in.

The two possibilities are:

• A blank value if the employee did not start work in this payroll period.
• A C for a wage type that was first created when the employee started work.

This is used in reporting the cumulative tax figures in the IR56 reports.
