Definition

A surcharge exemption indicator for additional settlements.

Use

This indicator is used by the RED system to identify the type of additional settlement in which it will report contributions when creating a FAN-type message.

There are three allowed values:

• No exemption.
• Processing salaries to be paid due to dismissal or termination
  of a work contract.
• Salary increases, changes or improvements to bases, concepts and rates
  for retroactive accounting, arising from collective agreements, legal
  provisions, judgements or a legitimate change of title.

The Social Insurance Administration requires that you enter the check date in the RED system messages for employees who are exempt from surcharge. You should maintai this date in the date infotype 0041.
