Basis for maintenance payment
Use
In this field, you specify the basis for the maintenance payment. Together with the entry in the "Reason for Entry into Pension" field (of the holder), this field is used to determine the exact rule for calculating the maintenance payment.
The following table shows the meaning of the different rules for the maintenance payment.

Description of table:
The Rule column contains the values that can be entered in the "Maintenance Payment" field.
The Subty. column contains the subtypes for which the relevant rule is possible. The input help is filled accordingly.
The N/D column describes whether the numerator/denominator must be entered. In the case of "Act of Grace", "Acc. to Disciplinary Law", and "Divorcee (§86 BeamtVG)", payroll is canceled if the reason for the reduction (1 or 2) is specified as the maintenance payment.
The Min. Pens. column applies to the retired civil servant (pension holder). It specifies whether the minimum pension is to be increased.
The Period column applies to widows/widowers. It indicates whether the reduction is to take place before or after the increase.
The Manual column indicates whether the respective rule is to be depicted as a manual pension event. If, for such a rule, it is determined during payroll that this is a manual pension event, a termination occurs with the corresponding error message. The entry "Before 01.01.92" means that cases with a numerator/denominator reduction are to be depicted manually with the reason Maintenance Payment and the start of the widow#s maintenance payment before 01/01/1992. The start of the maintenance payment is checked using infotype 0000 (Actions).
The Special Feature column indicates, for example, in the case of §38, that a comparison with the accident equalization payment (minimum amount § 38) is carried out, if necessary.
If determined within payroll that the relevant wage type is not specified, a termination occurs.
