Pay scale area of pension insurance
In pension insurance, a differentiation is made between so-called Eastern and Western pensions. What is important for the differentiation is the city where the employee obtains his or her income that is liable for insurance.
Only the following pay scale areas are used here: 20 (West Germany), 30 (East Germany), or 25 (Federal).
