Definition
Determines how the system distributes an amount between the various periods in Personnel Cost Planning, if a period is to be divided for particular calculations.
Example
For the period from 1st February 2000 to 31st March 2000, there is an amount of $8000. The period is split into the following periods:
1st February 2000 to 29th February 2000
1st March 2000 to 31st March 2000
If you have selected by month, the system distributes the amounts as follows:
Start End Amount
1st February 2000 to 29th February 2000 $4000
1st March 2000 to 31st March 2000 $4000
If you have selected by day, the system distributes the amounts as follows:
Start End Amount
1st February 2000 to 29th February 2000 $3866,67
1st March 2000 to 31st March 2000 $4133,33
