Documentation
Definition
When the Base indicator in Employee contribution is U or N, the wage type is used as the employee contribution base:
- If the value is U, you maintain the wage type in the Recurring Payments/Deductions infotype (0014) with a valid period for the contribution base.
- If the value is N, you maintain the wage type only once in the Additional Payments infotype (0015) when the system goes live or you hire new employees.
When you implement the regulation for the Public Housing Fund tax deduction, this wage type is also used as the employee's average monthly salary in the previous year in two cases:
- When the system goes live
- When you hire new employees
To display this wage type, enter a value in the Emt contri.rate field, select EE Avg Month salary and then choose Enter. The value M is an exception. If you enter this value (M) in the Emt contri.rate field, the system does not display the wage type.
You maintain the wage type as follows:
- If the Base indicator in Employee contribution is U and you select EE Avg Month salary to get the employee's average monthly salary in the previous year, you must maintain the wage type in the Recurring Payments /Deductions infotype (0014) with a valid period for the contribution base. The system then uses the amount of the wage type as the employee's average monthly salary in the previous year when the system goes live or when you hire new employees.
- If the Base indicator in Employee contribution has any value other than N, M or U and the Base indicator in Employer contribution is not N, to get the employee's average monthly salary in the previous year (EE Avg Month salary is selected), you must maintain this wage type only once in the Additional Payments infotype (0015). The system then uses the amount of the wage type as the employee's average monthly salary in the previous year when the system goes live or when you hire new employees.
