Definition

Specifies the wage type in which the system stores the calculated amount of employee contribution for a specific type of supplementary insurance.

Use

The system uses this wage type to store the employee contribution that it calculates during the payroll run.

This amount may differ from the actual amount that the employee pays into the insurance, for example, if you specify in the Supplementary Insurance (3532) infotype that the employee pays both employee and employer contributions. In that case, this wage type stores only the calculated employee contribution amount, whereas the wage type for actual employee contribution stores the total amount of employee and employer contributions.
