Use

When you select this checkbox, the system calculates the employee's average monthly salary in the previous year.

The system ignores this selection if any of the following are true:

• The exempted contribution rate and the exempted multiplier are empty.
• The value in the Base indicator field in Employee contribution group box is M or N.
• The value in the Base indicator field in Employer contribution group box is N.

When you implement the regulation for PHF tax deduction and select this checkbox, the following are true for different values of the Base indicator field in Employee Contribution group box:

• If the value is N or M, the system gets the employee's average monthly salary in the previous year from stored data.
• If the value is U, the system calculates the employee's average monthly salary in the previous year. In the case of the system going live or hiring new employees, you must maintain the wage type in the Recurring Payments /Deductions infotype (0014). The system then uses this amount as the employee's average monthly salary in the previous year.
• If the values is C, D, L, S or T, the system calculates the employee's average monthly salary in the previous year. In the case of the system going live and hiring new employees, you must maintain the wage type in the Additional Payments infotype (0015). The system then uses this amount as the employee's average monthly salary in the previous year.

When you implement the regulation for PHF tax deduction and do not select this checkbox, the following are true for different values of the Base indicator field in Employee contribution group box:

• If the value is N or M, the system gets the employee's average monthly salary in the previous year from stored data.
• If the value is C, D, L, T, S or U, the system uses the corresponding contribution base as the employee's average monthly salary in the previous year.
