ADP Interface: Pay Record

Record Type

This field assigns a record ID to the mapping between SAP and ADP wage types. This record ID is used during the EPIP conversion of SAP wage types.

Example 1:

The SAP wage type '1130' should be stored as a regular earning in the ADP System.

The System requires the following entry:

SAP Wage Type ADP Wage Type Record Type Check Type 1330 <not needed> Regular Hrs and Earnings <default>

The ADP wage type field remains empty, since no wage type code is needed for the record type 'regular earnings'.

The ADP-Interface will store the Amount field of the Wage Type 1330 as a regular earning.

Important: If the NUM field of the wage type 1330 is filled, the ADP-Interface will interpret it automatically as 'Regular Hours'.

If the 'Regular Hours' information is stored under another SAP wage type (i.e '1331' ) a second entry is required:

SAP Wage Type ADP Wage Type Record Type Check Type 1331 <not needed> Regular Hrs and Earnings <default>

Example 2:

The wage type D010 is a deduction, it should be mapped to the ADP wage type ' 24', no processing in the EPIP conversion is needed. The entry in the mapping table is:

SAP Wage Type ADP Wage Type Record Type Check Type 1331 24 UWT (User wage type) <default>

Example 3:

The SAP wage type '1810' should be processed as a second check in the ADP System. The ADP code should be ' 76', the corresponding tax frequency has the value 'S' (Semi monthly). Within the EPIP conversion, the wage type is considered an 'Earnings 5'.

The entry in the mapping table is the following:

SAP Wage Type ADP Wage Type Record Type Check Type 1810 76 Earnings 5 S

Further examples:

The following table shows possible entries in the mapping table:

Result Table Entries (RT): Mapping Table:

------------------------------+ +-----------------------------------
Lgart NUM AMT | | Lgart Record type
