Definition
This field indicates whether a separate answer letter is to be sent to the originator of the garnishment document, and if so, how often.
Input values
This field accommodates the following values:
1 - An answer letter is sent to the originator after every pay period.
2 - An answer letter is sent at the interval specified in the field Elapsed days. The first answer letter is not sent upon processing the first deduction; it is sent when the specified number of days has elapsed since the first deduction.
3 - An answer letter is sent at the interval specified in the field Elapsed days. The first answer letter is sent upon processing the first deduction; the second is sent when the specified number of days has elapsed since the first deduction.
4 - An answer letter is sent at the interval specified in the field Elapsed days. The first answer letter is sent when the specified number of days has elapsed since the date in the First reply field.
5 - An answer letter is sent at the interval specified in the field Elapsed days. The first answer letter is sent on the date specified in the First reply field. The second answer letter is sent when the specified number of days has elapsed since the first letter was sent.
6 - No answer letter is sent to the originator; equivalent information is instead printed directly on the check.
