This field contains the employee's country of residence, encoded according to the official countries list issued by the Internal Revenue Service, in F4 help.

Procedure

Select the employee's country of residence.

Note

For non-resident employees, you need to create an 'E1' subtype record (non-resident tax jurisdiction) in infotype 0006 (Addresses) as well as entering the country in this field. To calculate non-resident employee taxes, you must also enter the applicable percentage rate 'Rate used' in infotype 0062.
