Use

This status influences the way in which the illness notification is displayed when the next comparison is carried out using the report Compare Illness Notifications (ELDA) with Absences (RPCKSBA0_MAT). The effects of the individual status values are as follows:

• Initial
  If the status of a record in infotype 3248 is set to Initial, the system offers functions for resolving conflicts during the next comparison process, even where no conflicts exist with the start and end date or absence type.
• Compared
  If the status of a record in infotype 3248 is set to Compared and no conflicts exist with the Absences infotype (2001), the relevant period is displayed for information purposes only during the next comparison process. The system does not offer any functions for resolving conflicts.
  
  If infotype 2001 contains a record with conflicting data relating to the start and end date or absence type, the system nonetheless offers functions for resolving conflicts during the next comparison process.
  
  If you include only new cases in the comparison, the periods with the status Compared are no longer displayed.
• Set to OK Manually
  If the status of a record in infotype 3248 is set to Set to OK Manually, the relevant period is displayed for information purposes only during the next comparison process. The system does not offer any functions for resolving conflicts, even if conflicts exist with the start and end date or absence type.
  
  Canceled illness notifications with this status are not displayed during the next comparison process. If you include only new cases in the comparison process, the periods with this status are also no longer displayed.
  

Dependencies

The system changes the status when you execute the report Compare Illness Notifications (ELDA) with Absences(RPCKSBA0_MAT) and save the relevant data on the second screen for the report.
